⚠️ Scam Alert – Please Read

We’ve been notified of a fraudulent scam online involving fake promotions such as “Win a Free Cooler” or similar giveaways. Victims are asked to enter their credit card number to pay for “shipping,” after which they are hit with unauthorized charges. These charges sometimes show the name “Gearshift Garage” (often misspelled) on the statement.

Important Facts:
• These charges do not come from us.
• Gearshift Garage has never run sweepstakes, prize giveaways, or “pay shipping only” offers.
• Legitimate orders placed with us are processed securely through Shopify.

On your bank or credit card statement, our store will never appear as “Gearshift Garage.” 
Instead, it will show up with Shopify’s payment processor information.

If you see a suspicious charge:

• Contact your bank or card issuer right away to dispute it.
• Report the scam to your provider or consumer protection agency.
• Rest assured: Gearshift Garage is not connected to these scams in any way.
